You WON’T BELIEVE what’s Hidden in your Carpet – Clean it to Find Out!

Needed Items: 

• Salt 
• Vinegar 
• Borax 
• Vacuum 
• Optional: Steam cleaner

Step 1: Vacuum your carpet thoroughly. Before you work to get any stains out of the carpet, you must make sure the carpet is free of dust, hair or an unwanted bits that may have formed on your carpet overtime 

Step 2: Mix ¼ cup of salt, ¼ cup of vinegar and ¼ cup of Borax. This should form into a thick paste 

Step 3: Apply the thick paste onto the stained sections of your carpet 

Step 4: Let the paste sit on the stains for several hours until it dries completely

Step 5: Vacuum away the dried paste along with the entire carpet one more time

The following 3 steps are optional but will definitely help take the final look of your carpets to another level! 

Step 6: Fill up your steam cleaner with hot water. If you have deeply soiled carpets, you can add white vinegar to the water for a deeper clean

Step 7: Let the steam cleaner soak the carpet with hot water. The hot water will deeply clean stubborn stains

Step 8: Switch your steam cleaner to the second mode to soak the hot water. Complete this step thoroughly to ensure your carpets are completely dry to avoid staining again
