Paying it Forward

During this time of recommended isolation and social distancing, and during our regular building inspections, OneContact has identified some tenants with higher needs for assistance. 2019 brought several positive changes to OneContact and prompted us to appreciate how critical it is when people’s fundamental needs are met. Consequently, the attitude of paying it forward is real, makes a huge difference and it is needed now more than ever.

Food hampers have been delivered to those with no transportation and very limited funds. At the same time, a free quality-of-life check was done (E.g., light bulb replacement, toilet tank calibration, kitchen faucet leak repair, draft elimination, front door lock lubed, walker tightening, and others).

Through our work, we are fortunate to have a small impact on making somebody’s living space brighter and more comfortable. After a job well done, a resident’s smile has made our efforts very meaningful. We are part of this resilient community and together we will all get through this.
